Fall 2025
Problem: Design, draft, and prototype a technical jacket from scratch. I wanted to create something that could be worn in a casual setting about town with jeans, not just in an active performance situation.
Process:
- Sketching
- Patternmaking & prototyping
- Detailed focus on sleeves, hood, and pocket development
Outcome: After multiple prototypes, a final, fully functional jacket was completed.
Lessons Learned: Each pattern change and prototype pushed the project forward. One major lesson learned came from a near-finished prototype burning while applying seam sealer.
